It should be noted that the Spanish government has announced its intention in recent weeks to raise the investment cap for obtaining a Golden Visa from 500,000 euros to 1,000,000 euros (427.125,00£ to 854.250,00 £/ 543.545,00 $ to 1.087.090,00 $ last uptaded 18.03.2024). We advise everyone considering applying for a Golden Visa to do so immediately before the government doubles the required investment cap in the coming months. The Golden Visa applies retroactively to all those who have acquired property in Spain since September 28, 2013.
